Emergency Plumbing Repair – Fast Response in the South West of Edinburgh

Allied Trade Plumbing & Heating recently attended an emergency plumbing repair at a property in Edinburgh after the homeowner discovered a leaking pipe that was causing damage to the property. Following the initial call, engineer Liston attended the property within the hour and quickly identified the source of the leak. During the repair process, additional hidden leaking sections were also discovered and repaired before further damage could occur. The engineer investigated the leak, traced it to three pinholes in the pipe lift on the floor, and replaced the affected sections of the pipe. They then returned to investigate a further leak under the floor, which required them to turn off the water in the street, as it was caused by a pinhole leak in the incoming mains pipe under the floor. They cut the floorboards in the hall and the kitchen, where they had previously been lifted. This helped them access a larger space, allowing them to replace the section of the leaking pipework. Finally, they put the floor back down. As with all emergency callouts, particular attention was paid to ensuring the property was left clean, safe, and tidy once the repair work was completed. Due to the complexity of parts of the repair, the team worked efficiently and carefully to ensure the issue was fully resolved. The customer was kept informed throughout the work, and all repairs were completed within the original quoted cost.

The homeowner praised the speed of response, professionalism of the engineer, and the friendly service provided from first contact through to completion.
